To make a short story longer (just kidding), I realize now that I CAN'T do it on my own. A few long hard years of trying will make you realize this. He can't fix your heart if you don't give him ALL the pieces. My life now could be summed up as a "work in progress".

Imagine if a baby was only fed once a week. It wouldn’t grow much, would it? The same is true in our Christian Life. We have got to get fed everyday! If you wanna be a "healthy" Christian, it's time to get off the "Gerber faith" and start chewing on the MEAT of the WORD, and eat it up everyday. Get to know Him. "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his suffering, becoming like him in his death," Philippians 4:10.
