Elizabeth M. - Louisiana

Hi everyone, my name is Elizabeth McLellan. 
I'm 11 years old and I live in Gloster Louisiana. I would like to share my testimony with you but I want to start out by saying that I didn't go to drugs or anything. My testimony is pretty old fashioned. When I was born in July 1989 I was a very sickly person. In fact I almost lost my life. I couldn't suck a bottle or anything else I was rapidly losing weight they had to put a tube to my stomach and feed me like that. I believe that it was by God's grace that I am alive today. When I was in the 2nd grade all of my friends were asking Jesus into their hearts and I knew that I needed to do that. SO the following week I talked to my dad ( a preacher) and prayed the salvation prayer. I was then baptized. I thought that I believed but I didn't. I said that I believed, I knew all that was needed to know and I spoke it, but I didn't believe it. I had been living a lie for 3 or 4 years and I didn't even realize it. I didn't know until a revival at my church in July 2000 that I had been living a lie. I had a problem though I thought that the church that I belonged to was not for me like I should never have a problem and that I should always be happy with a smile on my face. (more)
