I've learned that God wants and desires for us to trust in Him. He does not want us to have a restless heart that contains no peace. Doesn't He take care of the birds of the air and aren't we much more valuable than they? A Caedmon's Call song says "But you know I know better, I'm not gonna worry 'bout nothing. Cause if the birds and the flowers survive then I'll make it ok." I then learned that I had to stop trying to figure everything out and simply trust in Him. I had to focus on who He really was and is and is to come. I had to trust in His character. Oh how much easier it is to trust God once we can see Him for who He really is. So, I encourage you all. When you don't understand, when you can't see His plan, when you can't trace His hand trust His heart.
