Howdy! My name is Dawn Stoika. I'm a senior this year and I plan to attend Union University in Jackson, TN this fall. I did not have the honor to go to Centribreak this spring, but I did get to attend Centrifuge two summers ago. God has truly used Centrifuge and the staff to really minister to me in a mighty, life changing way.

I had to write a speech for Church for the Youth Speakers Tournament. The topic that I chose was "Just Trust." Don't ask me why I chose that one, I believe God put it in my heart to do that one. I broke down Proverbs 3:5-6 and described each section of the verses. I truly believe that God wrote through me. There was no way I could have written that, especially not knowing how to trust. So the first time I had to compete with someone with my speech, I was so nervous. I then realized that I had to allow God to use my speech to minister mostly to me. ! I needed to hear it with my heart. Needless to say, God spoke to me through my speech. I like to call it His speech though. (more)
