Andrea
M.
Hi!
My name is Andrea - but that's besides the point. When I was 8 my mother
was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was a single parent and I was an
only child. When I was 11, she died. It's hard to be an eleven old girl
with no one to turn to. I had all my family and friends, but I felt so
alone. I even did what preachers and evangelist told me never to do. I
questioned God. I certainly got an answer. He showed me that he took my
mother away from me for a reason, for people who had their loved one's
taken away as well. I could be a good witness for God- to say, "I've
been through stuff too- not all Christians have had the perfect life like
so many people think." It was hard at first, but I was soon able to
tell people about my life. Its still hard to really realize that she's not
there and she won't be here for things like my wedding and my first child,
but I'm excited that God did this and maybe I will be able to help someone
else one day. For those people who are wondering (if any are) what
happened to me afterwards - my Aunt and Uncle adopted me and they became
my parents and my 2 older cousins became my brothers. (more)
